Elsa from Frozen was inspired by Idina Menzel, who voiced the character 

also played the role of Elphaba in the Broadway production of Wicked.

Aladdin was inspired by Tom Cruise, who was originally considered for the role but ultimately turned it down.

Tiana from The Princess and the Frog was inspired by Oprah Winfrey,  

who served as a producer on the film and also provided the voice for Tiana's mother. 

Ursula from The Little Mermaid was inspired by drag performer Divine,  

who had a similar body shape and over-the-top personality. 

Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast was inspired by Maurice Chevalier, a French actor and singer known for his charm and wit.

Scar from The Lion King was inspired by Jeremy Irons, who provided the character's voice  

and also played similar villainous roles in other films.
